The Green Bay Area USBC is excited to announce the 2023-24 All Association Teams, which recognize the exceptional achievements of our local bowlers. These teams are determined through a point-based scoring system that takes into account both tournament and league play throughout the season. You can learn more about the scoring system here.
Men’s All Association Team
Male Bowler of the Year: Joey Wagester
Joey Wagester had an outstanding season, earning him the title of Male Bowler of the Year. His accomplishments include:
•1st Place Baker Trios Tournament
•1st Place Baker Doubles Tournament
•1st Place in Singles & Scratch Singles
Joining Joey on the Men’s All Association Team are:
•Nathan Hornick: 2nd Place in Baker Trios, 1st Place Team Tournament, 1st Place Baker Doubles
•Jon Koltz: Masters tournament semi-finalist, bowled 4 perfect 300 games, 20 700 series, and achieved a high average of 235
•Scott Weber: Masters Tournament Champion, bowled 17 700 series, and earned a high average of 227
•John VanLangendon: Advanced to Match Play in the Masters tournament, 3rd place in Baker Trios, bowled 2 perfect 300 games, 1 800 series, 26 700 series, and earned a high average of 227
Women’s All Association Team
Women’s Bowler of the Year: Morgan Stary
Morgan Stary had a phenomenal season, earning her the title of Women’s Bowler of the Year. Her accomplishments include:
•A 218 average
•7 series of 700+
•24 series of 600+
Morgan is joined by the following bowlers on the Women’s All Association Team:
•Beth Polomis: 4th place in the Doubles Tournament, bowled 4 series of 700+, 37 series of 600+, and maintained a 208 average
•Carrie Garcia: 2nd place in the Queen’s Tournament, bowled 4 series of 700+, 47 series of 600+, and earned a 207 average
•Valerie Verheyen: Bowled 8 series of 700+, 66 series of 600+, and maintained a 213 average
•Kim Hoffmann: 4th place in Baker Doubles, bowled 4 series of 700+, 53 series of 600+, and earned a 213 average
