Walk-in spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive at check-in, which opens at 11:00 AM, to claim a spot in the Scratch or Handicap division.

Entry Fee

$50 Gets You on the Lanes

Five games of competition with at least 1 in 4 bowlers cashing in each division.

2 Divisions

Choose Your Division

Scratch and Handicap divisions compete separately, each with its own prize fund. Walk-ins choose their division at check-in.

Scratch Division

Straight pinfall, no handicap. Open to all USBC members. Bowlers averaging over 220, and bowlers without a verifiable average, must bowl Scratch.

Handicap Division

Handicap is 90% of 220, based on your highest 2024–25 average. No average from last season? A current average of 21+ games can be used with verification, so bring it with you to check-in.

Tournament Format

How It Works

Bowlers move lanes after each qualifying game. Lane movement will be announced at the start of the squad.

Qualifying

3 Games

After 3 qualifying games, the field is cut to a casher’s round. At least 1 in 4 bowlers advance and cash.

Casher’s Round

2 More Games

Advancing bowlers bowl 2 additional games with scores carrying over. Using 5-game totals, a 1 in 3 cut advances to the finals.

Eliminator Finals

One-Game Matches

One bowler is eliminated from each pair every game until one remains. If multiple pairs are used, pair winners face off for the title.

The Fine Print

Tournament Rules

All USBC rules apply. Please review before you register.

  1. Tournament is sanctioned by USBC. All USBC rules apply. Open to all USBC members.
  2. After each of the 5 qualifying games, bowlers will move lanes. Lane movement will be announced at the start of the squad.
  3. The oil pattern will be a Challenge pattern and will be posted at tournament check-in.
  4. Handicap is 90% of 220. High average from the 2024–25 season will be used. Bowlers without a 2024–25 average may use a current average of at least 21 games with verification. Bowlers without a verifiable average must bowl in the Scratch division. The 15-pin rule is in effect: bowlers averaging 15 pins higher at the time of bowling must use their current average. Bowlers averaging over 220 must bowl Scratch.
  5. 100% of both prize funds will be returned.
  6. Brackets will be available.
