The 2026 Green Bay Area USBC Team Championships were held Sunday at Buzz Social, where 42 teams competed for the title in a full day of competition featuring qualifying and bracket match play.
Teams began the day bowling three games of qualifying, with the top 12 teams advancing to the match play bracket. The top four teams earned a first-round bye before the elimination rounds began.

Qualifying Highlights
Several standout performances highlighted the qualifying round:
Rick Berken rolled a perfect 300 game
Kyle Blaese recorded the high series of the event with 815
Match Play Competition
Once match play began, teams battled through the elimination bracket toward the championship match. After several competitive rounds, Johnson Hardware and In the Slot advanced to the title match.
Championship Match Thriller
The championship match turned into one of the most exciting finishes of the tournament.
Both teams finished regulation play tied at 927, forcing a 9th and 10th frame roll-off to determine the champion.
In the roll-off, Johnson Hardware edged In the Slot 201–184 to claim the 2026 Green Bay Area USBC Team Championship title.
