Beth Polomis Dominates the Lanes: 2025 Green Bay Area USBC Queens Tournament Champion

The 2025 Green Bay Area USBC Queens Tournament took place on Sunday, January 12, at Village Lanes in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This exciting annual event brought together the top female bowlers in the region for a day of fierce competition, featuring a qualifying round and a thrilling match play championship.


Qualifying Round Highlights:


Brooklyn Eisner from Kewaunee, WI, led the field in qualifying with an impressive scratch total of 876, including standout games of 245 and 243.

Valerie Verheyen of Suamico, WI, followed closely with a total of 856, highlighted by a 248 game.

Rachel Schmit from Pulaski, WI, rounded out the top three with a consistent series totaling 836.


The top eight bowlers advanced to the match play round, vying for the coveted Queens Tournament title.


Championship Match:


The tournament concluded with an electrifying final match between Beth Polomis of Green Bay, WI, and Rachel Schmit. Beth, who had been dominant throughout match play, delivered a stellar performance in the championship round, defeating Rachel with an outstanding 260 to 163 victory. This impressive finish secured Beth the 2025 Green Bay Area USBC Queens Tournament title.
