Tournament Date: The tournament is scheduled for March 1, 2026, with a single qualifying squad at 10 am.
Entry Limit: The tournament is limited to the first 48 paid team entries. Teams consist of 4 bowlers per team.
Entry Fee: The entry fee is $100 per team.
Scratch Option: Additional scratch option available for $40 per team. Scratch option will pay 1 in 5 based on the initial 3 game qualifying total.
Entry Deadline: Entries will close on Friday, February 27, 2026, or when 48 entries have been received, whichever comes first. No entries will be accepted after this date.
Eligibility: Eligible bowlers must be members of the Green Bay Area USBC.
Handicap: This is a handicap tournament, with a handicap set at 85% of 920 based on the team average for each game.
Entering Average Criteria: Entrants should use the following criteria to determine their entering average:
Use the highest single USBC league average from the previous season based on a minimum of 21 games.
Alternatively, use the composite average of all USBC leagues from the previous season, including leagues with less than 21 games (total games from the previous season must be at least 21).
If no average is available from the previous year, use the highest current USBC league average (minimum of 21 games) as of February 20, 2026.
Bowlers with none of the above averages must use 230 as their entering average.
If the current average for at least 21 games as of February 20, 2026, exceeds last season’s average by 15 or more pins, the current season average must be used.
Tournament Winnings Reporting: Bowlers who have received cash prizes greater than $300 over the past 12 months must report those winnings to tournament management in accordance with Rule 319d.
Average Adjustment Rule: The average adjustment rule will apply per Rule 319e.
Team Composition: Teams will consist of four bowlers, and can be all men, all women, or mixed.
Tournament Format:
Qualifying Round: The Qualifying Squad will be 3 games across 3 pairs of lanes, with at least one in five teams from the qualifying round advancing to match play.
Tie Resolution: In case of a tie for the last advancing spot, a 9th and 10th frame roll-off will occur. Other ties will be broken by each tied team’s last qualifying game with handicap.
Match Play Bracket Squad: The Match Play Bracket Squad will begin at approximately 1pm after the conclusion of the Qualifying Squad.
Bracket Seeding: Advancing teams will be seeded based on their qualifying round total.
Match Play Rounds: The Match Play rounds will consist of a single game, single-elimination match. In the event of a tie, a 9th and 10th frame roll-off will occur.
Decisions: All decisions made by the tournament manager are final, unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329.
